The preservation of the pipeline represents an increasingly valuable asset to protect and maintain. Petrol Lavori task is to extend as long as possible the pipeline duration operating on both sides: externally due to atmospheric corrosion and internally on account of chemical reaction, induced currents and obstructions, benefiting in terms of both cost and environmental protection. The techniques applied allow to restore the original efficiency for any type of plant, mainly for oil, gas and water pipelines so as to restore the functionality of the system. The cleaning service is propedeutical to any kind of intervention to the pipeline and affects the quality of the final result: a pipeline adequately cleaned ensures a proper inspection and also any optimal interior lining, making it the most high-performance features. In practice this way to operate is a safe and good investment for a medium/long term.

ServiceFor each specific job Petrol Lavori studies the most appropriate solution making use also of “no-dig” and “Trenchless Technology” for the rehabilitation and replacement of underground pipes. The areas of activity are:
• Verification of the internal pipeline conditions: piggability, calibration/gauging, video inspections and pipeline integrity (Intelligent Pigging).
• Internal pipeline cleaning and descaling even through hydro-mechanical devices uses purposely designed (IDROMEC SYSTEM).
• Pipeline batching, drying and drainage.
• Hydrostatic test and pipeline commissioning.
• Pipeline partial or total replacement with the following methods: Loose-Fit Lining, Close-Fit Lining, Pipe Bursting and Pipe Splitting.
• Removal and application of new internal linings: thermosetting resin or photosensitive jacket (CIPP method - Cured In Place Pipe), with the application of cement mortar layer (CML method - Cement Mortar Lining), with the application of Epoxy Resin Layer (ESL method - Epoxy Spray Lining).
• Interventions of pipe into pipe.
